Ron Content
President, GO Lighting Technologies
Ron established Raconix Corporation in 1987 to develop tools for converting legacy
software from proprietary systems to open source code. Raconix had offices in Paris and
London and developed business partner relationships with major computer companies,
including IBM and Hewlett‐Packard. The company was later sold to an investment group
and successfully listed on NASDAQ as Transformation Processing Inc.
Following this, Ron worked with technology entrepreneurs, investment groups and institutions
such as the University of Toronto to determine the commercial feasibility of new technologies
or service concepts, and to develop business plans and commercial relationships, including
securing seed funding.
He then moved into the energy consulting business, building relationships with energy
providers and providing price‐mitigation programs to mid‐ to large corporations and industry
associations. His interest in energy matters grew as the price of energy increased, leading to
the exploration of energy saving capabilities and the formation of GO Lighting Technologies.
For the past two years Ron has been intensively researching energy efficient lighting
technologies and developing relationships with manufacturers of leading edge products that
meet GO's stringent requirements.
Geoffrey Freeman
Channel Development Manager
Geoff joined the GO team after 27 years with a leading international lighting manufacturer
where he managed their portfolio of national and regional retailers. Geoff leads GO’s network
of wholesalers, regional distributors and specialty retailers.
Michael Minos
Business Development Manager
Mike leads GO’s business development across North America. His extensive business
development background in the LED and custom lighting industry is invaluable in his
relationships with agencies, OEMs, designers, architects and other influencers throughout the
lighting design community.
Anton Swaris
Senior Project and Technical Manager
Anton has over eight years experience in project management and product design for LED
lighting systems gained in New Zealand, the USA and Canada, and holds a B.S and M.S. in
electrical engineering. He is responsible for technical liaison with our customers and suppliers.
Anton has working relationships with some of Canada’s leading universities and government
institutions involved with lighting technology and the effect of quality of light on the quality of
life – at home and in the workplace.
